;; appearance
general;;
Frozen in time. Like the Cullen family, Jacob has not aged a day since he left La Push to follow his love. Standing at six feet and seven inches, his dark russet skin is a sharp contrast to the ghostly white of the vampires. Smooth dark skin stretches across the lean muscular build. Long limbs are powerful, his body quite a few degrees warmer than that of a normal human. Beautiful, youthful features adorn his face, high cheekbones and a strong jawline creating the basis. Small, almond shaped eyes are onyx gems, dark brows arching slightly above. Straight nose leads down to a large smile filled with perfect white teeth. Black hair is often changed, though often kept somewhere between the two extremes. His expression is nearly always arranged in some sort of grin or smile, his excited personality revealed in a dark glimmer in his eyes.
Traditional attire is a comfortable t-shirt and a pair of cut-off jeans, though he will dress up on occassion. High collars and long sleeves are usually avoided since the heat radiated from his body makes such things uncomfortable.
As a wolf, the only thing that remains is the same are the dark, expressive eyes. Accompanied by a rough, pink tongue and cold, black nose, the canine is usually of good temperament but the shiny canines are always prepared. Long, russet fur covers his body, though the length is completely dependant on how he is wearing his hair at the time.
favorite;;
Jacob loves that his body is built. Going from a lanky teen to a well built adult in a matter of weeks was an extremely pleasing surprise. He also takes great pride in the fact that his skin is a darker color than that of the Cullens. Though he's gotten past his distaste for vampires through Renesmee, he still is very proud of his differences.
hate;;
Jacob is not too pleased that he looks more like an adult due to his size. He is also very self-conscious about his hair, always attempting to wear it how Renesmee likes it best, but as it gets longer the length of the fur becomes rather irritating.
heritage;; Native American

;; personality
general;;
If there were one word to describe Jacob, it would be sunny. Warm and compassionate, the shapeshifter genuinely cares for those he lets into his life. He's sometimes wary of who he lets into his inner circle of friends, but once someone is in that group, Jake is loyal to a fault. This loyalty is sometimes misplaced, as he will make decisions about what is best for his friend rather than discussing the situation with them. Still his bright and smiling personality are found in his sense of humor and his genuine, honest nature.
Still, warmth can become too hot, as can Jacob. There's nothing that can ease his quick temper. Easy to flare and difficult to stifle, the burst of anger often brings out the more animalistic qualities in him, even pushing him to transformation (though his self-control is much better after the years). Fiercely protective of his loved ones, it is situations where they are insulted or injured that his anger is simply untameable.
His expression is sometimes arrogant, especially since he feels somewhat superior to the vampires. Living with a coven, he's grown accustomed to the blood suckers, but he still feels like the better species. He's also guilty of being exceptionaly proud when he has Renesmee on his arm, the jealous stares he recieves boosting his ego. This arrogance can often lead to confrontations with the Cullens, though he keeps his natural instincts of destroying them at bay.

;; origins
general;; extremely abridged
Jacob grew up on the La Push reserve, often in the shadows of his family. He and his friends had a traditional upbringing, according to standards. It wasn't until Bella moved to Forks that his life got interesting. She seemed genuinely interested in him and he fostered the friendship as he thought it would just grow from there. When she began to take to the Cullens, he was devastated. Part of him just wanted to believe the stories that went around the reservation about them; his father believed them, after all. Still, it wasn't so terrible as the friendship was still in its basic form.
When the Cullens left Forks, Bella was his again. Of course, she walked around in a bit of a daze, but through careful and warm care he was able to pull her from that. But it seemed they were not meant to be, for something else came between them. Jacob was a werewolf. A creature he thought was just in the stories of the past. Thrown into this world, Jacob was offered the position of alpha by Sam; but the feeling of loss and distaste for what he was drove him to refuse. Of course, he couldn't tell Bella and he was not even able to face her after his change. But then, Bella and he belonged together so when she discovered his secret it was like a huge weight from his shoulders. Saving Bella and protecting her became second nature to him, but it only took one of the bloodsuckers to return that took her from him once again.
Finding that Bella wants to become a vampire, he attempts to tear himself from her, refusing to see her or even speak to her. This seemed to be ripping out his own heart. Finally he admits this to himself and gives in, and Bella gains Edward's permission to visit him. At one point, he pushes their relationship, leading to a kiss that he'd wanted since he met her once again, which earned him a painless punch. Bella, however, was hurt which was the cause of a bit of tension between Edward and him.
The wolves and vampires work together, to bring down the army of newborns. Of course, Jacob was never one to play fair and in order to earn a kiss he alluded to the fact that he may just let himself fall during the battle since Bella won't be his. But when he listened in and heard of Bella's plan to marry Edward and still become a vampire, his temper leads him into the battle. They defeated the newborns, but because of one stupid move by a packmember, Jacob was injured attempting to save her. The quick healing was masked since Charlie got wind of the injury he got "riding his motorcycle" and he was forced to fake his injuries for awhile. It wasn't until he recieved the wedding invitation that things grew dark again. Struggling with depression, Jacob ran away into the forest.
While away, he traveled all across North America, keeping his transformations to a minimum since he didn't know if he was still connected to the pack. But just like the other times, Jacob could not sever the connection between Bella and himself. He attends the wedding, though his sunny disposition seems darkened by depression. When Bella and Edward return and he learns that Bella is pregnant, the pack learns as well. Seeing this child as a threat, Sam plots to kill the Cullens and Bella. Simply unable to deal with this decision, Jacob disobeys the command, separating himself from the pack and creatinghis own. He was joined by Leah and Seth, who aid in protecting the Cullens and Bella.
Of course, Jacob thought it was stupid for Bella to risk her life for the child, but when he saw her he could not wish for anything more. Instantaneously, he had found a new purpose. While Bella healed, Jacob took to taking care of her daughter with Rosalie, the blonde who he previously could not stand. The binding force of Renesmee brought them together. Of course, at her age there was no romantic feelings, simply a fierce protectiveness. He couldn't be torn from her side. When her life was once again threatened, he found himself once again siding with the Cullens to protect her.
Life continued and Renesmee grew up quite swiftly. Jacob was not complaining, since his feelings progressed naturally to romance. Over the past hundred years he had the priveledge of marrying the daughter of Bella, but of course they keep that part of their relationship secret as they move back to Forks, reverting back to simply dating.

;; roleplaying
Emotions rolled through the air, the intangible substance that filled the minds of humans. The emotions of teenagers were far worse than those of any humans. Teenagers were filled with pent up emotions and masked intentions that led to an array of strong, dark feelings locked away. Hatred. Jealousy. Depression. Malice. It was hard to ignore such an assault from every direction which is perhaps why the blonde vampire was not attending school today. Instead, he was found pacing the room he and Alice shared, his own little sanctuary. Especially now.
The Cullen house was silent aside from the near silent footfalls coming from the second floor. Jasper continued pacing for hours, a human habit that seemed to aid in calming his racing emotions. Being so sensitive to the fluctuations of feelings throughout any nearby creature was a cause of pain for the immortal, one that he struggled to keep from his family. Those that plagued him now, however, were entirely his own. The empty house was filled only with his own hostility towards himself. Mentally berating himself for his weakness, he struggled with the feeling of inadequacy. Each member of his family was very different, and yet they were all so strong. Each one of them struggled with the same thirst, and yet they were all able to conquer it. The feeling sunk inside him, a physical weight which brought him down to the bed where he lay perfectly still.
Ivory lids were closed over the topaz eyes, chest neither rising or falling. The silence of the house was calming, but there was no denying the simple fact that Jasper simply could not fit in with his family. He was already hunting nearly twice as often as any of them and still he could scarcely contain himself. Alice's soft voice filled his mind with her hopeful encouragement. You stopped yourself, didn't you? You're winning the battle... But it certainly did not feel like a victory. In fact, it felt more of a failure in the presence or her perfection.
Jasper knew Alice was not perfect, but there was little denying the difference in their own struggle with human blood. A heavy sigh escaped his lips as his mind worked to find the solution. There had to be a better strategy to dealing with this burning in his throat. It was fire, even now as he sat where no humans wandered. Why was he the weak one? And why was his mind completely silent when he sought a solution? Alice deserved better, she always had. Why she had chosen to find him, to give him everything he didn't even know he needed, was simply beyond him. He never regretted a single moment with her, and yet he couldn't help but feel that the Cullens would have a much easier time living in harmony without the weak link.
Faster than an eye could follow, the boy disappeared. He had made up his mind to disappear on the family, convinced that he could survive on his own and they would have an easier time without him. Surely he'd be able to stay somewhat on the diet when he was alone. It didn't take too long for him to realize he'd never be able to go through with it. His entire life was sitting in some dull classroom listening to a lecture she could recite. With much slower motions, Jasper made his way back towards the large house, the rain that was so common in Forks washing away the bitterness in his mind, at least for a time.
It was only when he neared the house that worry began to gnaw at him. The emotions emanating mingled with the sweet, calming scent drove him with more urgency towards the kitchen. The room was only for looks, but there were times that the family would sit around the table or on one of the stools to talk. Now, one of those stools was occupied. The clock on the wall boasted only one p.m. - Alice should still be in school, and yet here she sat, facing him with worry laced eyes.
The two stayed there for a moment, more being communicated through their silence than any words that could be spoken. The bond between them was almost tangible in the air across the three feet that separated them. "Alice..." His voice was husky as he struggled with the mingling of emotions between them. Slowly, he moved towards her, only able to just look in her eyes. Long fingers would reach up, brushing her cheek with his knuckles, "there's no need to worry." The corners of his lips would turn upwards in a smile, one that was scarcely seen unless she was nearby. "You know I could never leave you. More accurate than any vision, I promise I'll always come back to you." The words were softly whispered, his arms wrapping firmly around her, pulling her to his chest. His own heart seemed to break at her anguish, and though the two of them were not as physical with their connection, this affection somehow seemed appropriate.;;
