age;; 17 [208]
sexual orientation;; Straight.

Canon;; Yes- Edward Cullen.
Species ;; Vampire ["Vegetarian"]
;; appearance
general;; Edward, being a vampire, obviously has the good-looks that draw in any human or vampire alike. Though he's restricted from "dazzling" on sunny days his appearance under cloud cover holds little to be desired. His hair, the colour of rich bronze is slightly wavy and way-ward in a style that looks gorgeous and yet effortless. His eyes are, due to his diet, a browny gold but range from light butterscotch and midnight black depending on how often he hunts. His skin is deathly pale and he supports slight bruise-like marks beneath his eyes, as if he's lacking his two hundred years worth of sleep, or perhaps still suffering from Spanish Influenza.
His wife Bella once claimed that his looks are that of a renaissance statue such as Michel Angelo's David, and though she has seen many more vampire's since he still continues to be- in her mind- the best looking. His looks are so attractive that they are simply one more factor to his persona that repel others (mostly humans); he seems so far above them. He has passed his gorgeous appearance and bronze hair down to his daughter Renesmee.
favorite;; Edward never sees his appearance as specifically special. He links his good-looks to his being a vampire and never really agrees with Bella when she compliments his appearance. Instead, Edward focuses on what is inside a person, and sees Bella, from the start, as the attractive person she is- no matter her human-ness (to begin with anyway).
hate;; Edward doesn't like the idea that he may be scary to others. He thinks it's appropriate to push people away with hostility (especially humans) because it's for their safety but he's a sociable person and hates the idea that he's a "monster" who has to act in that way.
heritage;; Edward was born in Chicago and therefore American.
ethnicity;; Caucasian.
;; personality
general;; Edward has a very passionate and melodramatic personality. He likes to openly express emotions and feelings, especially when it comes to Bella and Renesmee without feeling embarrassment. He will openly claim his adore for those he loves and has a very basically loyal and dedicated soul. He could even be considered as incredibly territorial and possessive over those he loves. Though he holds the feelings of his family above his own on a scale of importance, Edward earns for Bella and Renesmee- his family- to be by his side. Without them he considers himself at a loss and unimportant. They are his world.
On the side of humor and friendship Edward's closest brother is Emmett. His over-bearing and large play-mate is important to Edward and, like the rest of his family would stand by his side until the end. Alice is his closest "sister", though she irritates the hell out of him at times, even after so many years together.
Edward has a dry and slightly sarcastic sense of humor and loves to tease the two most important people in his life; Bella and Renesmee.
hobbies;; Edward enjoys reading, learning, observing others, trying to work out what Bella is thinking, and spending time with his family. He can also play a range of instruments and likes the piano the most.
dislikes;; The Volturi (mostly), anyone who dares to harm his family, Alice (at times when she's irritating), Rosalie (at times when she's stuck-up), not being able to read Bella's mind, werewolf stink, repeating high school over and over, Jacob (how dare he stake such a claim in his daughter's life!)
likes;; Spending his days with his family, spending his nights with Bella, wrestling with Emmett and Jasper, interesting people, loyal people, werewolves who are open minded about vampires.
Fears;; That he may loose any member of his family, that one day Bella might regret becoming a vampire, that he might slip up on his "vegetarian" diet, that he isn't being the right kind of father for Renesmee, that Jacob will one day take Renesmee away from him, that he won't have Bella for eternity...
Secrets;; That he's a vampire, that he enjoys classical music (hides it from humans at least), that Renesmee is his daughter (often have to pretend otherwise when in high school).
;; origins
Child: Renesmee Cullen.
general;; Edward was born on the 20th of June in Chicago USA, under the name of Edward Anthony Masen. His mother was Elizabeth Masen and his father Edward Sr. When he was 17 and lying, dying, in hospital in 1918 Carlisle Cullen was the doctor treating him. After a plead from Edward's later dead mother Carlisle took the chance in making another vampire. Edward was bitten and took the place as respectful son to Carlisle. As the Cullen coven grew Edward became restless and resentful toward Carlisle's way of living and branched out. After as few years of living as a normal vampire, however, he returned to Carlisle's coven like the long-lost son. He's never left them since.
Later, Edward met Bella in a Biology class of Forks High School. After surviving an hour of pure torture under the smell of such a delicious human Edward left before he could make a mistake he would seriously regret. After spending a week or so in Alaska with the Denali clan he returned to Forks and risked a liaison with Isabella Swan. That liaison and curiosity soon led to romance. It irritated Edward that he could never hear Bella's thoughts and it caused many problems along he way, such as the time he left her alone for five months thinking she would be able to move on without him. This departure Edward still feels guilty for and he will never turn back on his promise of never leaving Bella's side from now on.
Throughout it all, however, he has loved Bella with a strength that shocks him. His desire for her blood and her body was a raging battle inside him until she became a vampire. Now there is now battle or struggle. Now he can love her unconditionally for all of time- the thing he will be thankful for until the end of his existence, besides the miraculous birth of his daughter.
parents;; [birth] Edward & Elizabeth Masen. [adopted] Carlisle & Esme Cullen.
siblings;; [birth] None. [adopted] Emmett, Alice, Rosalie, Jasper. [pretending to be birth] Emmett, Alice, and Renesmee.

sample;;
OOC;; This is a sample from a twilight-esc site I own:
It was cold. Jesse was sure of it. He could almost feel it on his cheekbones as the speed his body propelled him at caused an icy cutting wind to rip through his clothes and over his skin. He could almost feel that sharp blow to the skin that came with the cold, that he could barely remember, that was blurred in tantalizing memories, just out of reach. He didn't breath hard. His heart beat was as non-existent as ever let alone sped up. And yet he ran through the forest at a speed equivalent to a formula one racing car at its peak. His feet barely touched the ground, with such a light moment of contact that his journey was silent. He left the plant life around him untouched, only quivering with the slight breeze he caused around them as he passed. Then they fell back into their positions utterly still. Like he'd never been there.
Jesse let instincts take over as his body ducked and twisted around trees and overhanging branches, not a leaf touched him. Not that it would matter. Were one of the thorny spines to touch a human at the speed he was moving they would be embedded so deep they would have to be surgically removed. Not with Jesse. His hard shell-like skin kept him protected from anything. Not even a chainsaw would cause him damage, though he had yet to try it. He wasn't that bored yet. In the near future he probably would be though. He had read nearly everything in the medical or scientific sections of any library he found. He had poured over the fiction adventure novels, scoffed at the stories of vampires and become drawn into tales of olden times that even he hadn't lived through. There wasn't a book he hadn't read or heard of, and he was coming close to finishing all those novels that interested him. He would have to come up with some other hobby. But when it came to sport he struggled to control his advantages and music had never been his forte. He could play the guitar, drums, violin, cello, trumpet, oboe and clarinet well enough to be in an orchestra but it had never been his true love. Medicine, science, and saving lives. That was where he had found his calling so many years ago, even in his blurry human thoughts. And yet, destined to live in the body of his eighteen year old self forever he would never be able to achieve that goal.
Jesse felt sure that after so long running even a vampire would be breathing hard, but of course his lungs functioned perfectly. It irritated him that he couldn't feel that physical exertion that came with human exercise. That made him feel more alive than anything. It only served as yet more evidence that vampires weren't alive. That they shouldn't exist... And yet here he was, running at flat out speed through the forest having crossed three states and back, including he border with Canada. And it wasn't even seven in the morning yet.
Recognizing parts of the woods, a slight imprinting on a tree trunk, and the exact colour of the leaves in another, Jesse knew that he was almost home.
Home had been something he had had to get used to. Unsure that he would have ever had a home again Jesse had never been able to stay in one place too long for the first ten years of his life when he fed on the condemned. Over the next seventy he had learned the hard way of what it meant for humans to become attached to him, if they weren't repelled by his alienness. That one girl so long ago that had proclaimed to love him and yet he had taken her life. Had gulped at her blood like a beast kept from their true diet. For that was what he had been. For twenty years he had become a "vegetarian" vampire and yet that girl had made him break all the rules he had set for himself. He had had a six months set back where he had hungered and felt thirsty almost continually but he had fought it down, consumed by guilt at what he had done, who he had killed. And now he was once again the animal-hunter he had been for those twenty years. This time the stint was reaching it's 68 year mark. If he ever met another person who's blood smelt so nice to him, he was unsure on whether that would be enough to resist. But he hoped so.
Breaking through the last barrier of trees Jesse skidded to a halt in front of the house and headed indoors. The building had once belonged to a family of Cullens. He had found the documents stating so at the town hall of Forks. As it had never been sold and technically still belonged to them, Jesse had moved in pretending to have been a family member. It hadn't raised too much suspicion. After twenty years of the Cullens' absence however Jesse began to guess that they wouldn't be returning. After finding out accounts and opinions of the mysterious Cullens when he first arrived Jesse had come to the conclusion that they were vampires like him. How they could have lived so close to humans gave only one explanation; that they followed his own meal regime. That gave him some comfort. If they could live in harmony with the humans in Forks then so could he.
Not wanting to disturb his housemates... family... clan... whatever they were to be called, Jesse simply ran up to his room and collected his school bag before running back down again. Unlike the previous occupants Jesse was not rich. He had saved over the years he had been alive to accommodate himself in the future and that was how he lived without a job, but he did not have the rich and glamorous everything that the previous Cullen's apparently had. Instead of a Ferrari or whatever Jesse climbed into a sleek saloon Audi. It was an old make and not as expensive as the new releases but it stood out enough in the parking lot of rusting old trucks and vans at Forks High.
Jesse could have ran to school faster and he would have enjoyed it, but he couldn't blow his secret over such a small whim. That was why he ran every morning. Having denied his blood-lust for so long Jesse was confident in that respect. But being stronger and faster than a normal vampire- a fact he had only discovered when the others had arrived in Forks- he found it difficult to moderate his movement and power. If he felt particularly strong emotions he had been known to crush door handles, shatter windows when closing them too hard and make quick arm movements to catch falling items. It was a habit he had only recently managed to break and still fell prey too occasionally. But he found that if he ran every morning then the urge to move at his normal pace was reduced and being human was easier. He had even had people comment on his smell. Unlike humans of course vampires didn't sweat and instead Jesse smelt of rich pine from Canadian forests. He wasn't about to tell anyone that it had nothing to do with soap and everything to do with his daily job around the block. All 5,000 miles of the block.
Driving the car fast but not excessively so Jesse pulled into he parking lot a little early. Getting out, he leaned against his car and felt the breeze on his face. He couldn't feel any temperature to it- only a slight warmth in comparison to his icy skin- but he could feel the movement against his face. It felt nice. Human...
It wasn't that Jesse pined for his human self. He wasn't happy but he had come to terms with being a vampire. He did, however, refuse to kill. He had done enough of that as a human. The blurry memories were even worse for their inaccuracy as it made it impossible to see those who survived and only those who didn't being blown to pieces before his eyes. The first and second World Wars had encouraged Jesse to believe that humans could kill each other effectively enough. They didn't need supposedly mythical creatures to do it for them. He wasn't going to kill anyone. Not again... Instead he hunted animals. He particularly liked the taste of stags. The bigger the better. Mountain lion was okay but grizzly was a little sour for his tastes. Human... He wouldn't think about that. It was beasts he stalked. Not his classmates.
Focusing on those said classmates to banish such thoughts Jesse turned his attention to the day ahead and what it would mean. More lessons he already knew and more people he had known the parents of. Thank God none of them had the smell of blood he knew was his downfall. He didn't know if he was strong enough to resist for once... And that thought haunted him day and night. It was a downside of not being able to sleep. Thoughts plagued him continually.
