general;; Edward is often compared to the mythical greek god, Adonis, by Bella. He has hair in a shade of bronze that is always kept in a state of disarray. His facial features consist of strong, angular lines, prominent cheek bones and a straight nose, while his skin is pale and has a marble-like quality to it. He has a strong jawline, as well as a set of full lips, making him a shockingly handsome sight. His eyes are an topaz color, though if he is not able to feed, his eye color gradually goes through a transition from topaz to a color dark enough to be described as black to the human eye. He stands at approximately six feet, two inches tall, and though he has a muscular build, he is also quite slender.
As a general rule, Edward results to wearing whatever suits his own personal style. Due to the fact that Edward was born in the early 1900s, his style tends to reflect that. He opts for vintage clothing, while still adding a spin on it from the current times. He may choose a vintage coat, or shirt, while still wearing a comfortable pair of jeans, or whatever's in style at the time. He's never overly worried about what he wears.
favorite;; His hair is the only quality about him that he really enjoys. He takes pride in the fact that it is about the only physical feature he holds on to from his life prior to being a vampire. Even his green eyes had disolved to the topaz color they are now upon turning.
hate;; His eyes are the one thing he sees as the biggest hinderance. It is always so easy to discern when Edward is thirsting, due to the simple fact that his eyes darken from topaz to near-black, and he developes purple bruise-like shadows beneath his eyes.

general;; When family and friends are concerned, Edward tends to be very protective and over-analytical when it comes to their well-being. He takes the neccessary steps to ensure that his family and friends are safe, and though he means well, sometimes he tends to overreact. He is quite charming, polite and respectful in a lot of regards, thanks to his human upbringing, and his vampiric upbringing with the Cullens, he has also attained some old-fashioned speach from his own era.
Edward also has a sturbborn streak that rivals that of Bella's. He finds himself caving in to a lot of her ways, but when it comes to her own safety, he tends to bristle up and not back down. He will go to any lengths to see that both her, and Renesme are safe and well cared for.Towards those he does not know, Edward maintains a polite and respectful attitude, so long as they give him no reason to mistrust him; Again, his family and friends are the things he covets most.

- Despite the fact that he puts on a show of disliking Jacob Black, he is appreciative of the fact that his daughter has a strong and efficient body guard watching over her constantly.
- Sometimes he still regrets turning Bella and wishes she would have had more time to partake in human aspects of life.
- Sometimes he doesn't understand some of the lingo that humans use currently. It doesn't seem practical or logical sometimes, but he does his best to smile and bare it, though it tends to irk him.

general;; Edward was originally born in Chicago, Illinois in 1901. He had lived his human life, up until the age of 17, at a fairly normal pace. He had grown up in a happy, loving family. Shortly after the spanish influenza hit, Edward and his family. His father was the first to die from the disease. Carlisle Cullen had been the doctor on duty at the time Edward and his family had been admitted to the hospital. It had been Edward's mother's dying wish that Carlisle take care of her son. Though Carlisle had both doubt and fear and an aversion to turning Edward, he knew it was the only way he could keep the promise to his mother to save him and protect him. Carlisle was also hoping that Edward would come to be a companion.
Shortly after Edward's turning, it became apparent that Edward had also acquired an unexpected tallent upon turning. He had been given the ability to read the thoughts of those around him. Edward learned from Carlisle, about the ways that a vampire could survive on animal blood, rather than taking that which they needed from humans.
Edward was the first addition to Carlisle's little family, and shortly after, Esme came along. Shrotly after Esme joined the family, Edward had a streak of rebellion and turned to doing what he precieved as 'good' at the time. He used his ability to read the minds of others and single out those with evil or devious thoughts, draining them dry of blood, and thus, killing them. Edward still couldn't deal with the guilt and the fact that he was taking human lives, and a few years after branching off on his own, he returned to Carlisle and Esme, who welcomed him back to the family.
Carlisle introduced Rosalie into the family, who quickly became known as a sister to Edward. Rosalie then brought Emmet into the fold after finding him on death's door after being mauled by a bear. She brought him to Carlisle, who turned him, effectively giving Edward a 'brother'. Eventually, Jasper and Alice found their way into their lives as well and became a part of the family.
In the 1930s, the Cullens had moved to Forks, Washington for the first time. The Quilieute tribe confronted the Cullens, letting them know in no uncertain terms that they knew and understood what they were, and that they would not stand for the potential that their families would be harmed. The Cullens and Quilieutes signed a treaty, declaring that the Quilieutes and Cullens would leave each other well enough alone, so long as the Cullens did not bite a human, or tresspass on Quilieute territory.
Edward had followed Carlisle and the rest of his family, being the only unmated member of the family, until they came back to Forks, Washington in the 2000s. Edward had been with his family back in forks for some 2 years before Bella Swan came into his life. As a human, he knew he should have stayed away from her, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Edward recognized immediately that he had fallen in love with the human girl.
Edward and Bella went through a series of struggles and hardships on the way to finally being able to embrace their love for one another. Bella gave birth to Edward's beautiful daughter, Renesme, as a human, and in order to prevent Bella from dying from the birth of the hybrid child, he was forced to turn Bella.
The birth of the hybrid child of Edward and Bella had a whole new set of complications with it, including the interest the Volturi had in his daughter and the fact that Bella's best friend, Jacob Black, had imprinted on his newborn daughter. Edward was adamante about protecting both Bella and Renesme from any harm that could possibly come to them, and in the end, he had managed to succeed.
From that point on, Edward and Bella had been content to raise their daughter and keep a watchful eye on Jacob Black. Now that the Cullens are back in Forks, after nearly a hundred years of being away, Edward had been looking forward to being able to settle down in a familiar place for Bella, and continue living their lives in peace.

Jasper had been planning this for almost two weeks now. He had convinced Edward, somehow, that tonight was just an innocent night out on the town to go see one of the local composers perform at the Lincoln Theater. Little did Edward know, Jasper and Alice had been planning this night for two weeks. Alice had done her part in convincing Bella of a 'Girl's Night Out'. She had done her begging and pleading. She had given her best display at a completely misserable act of being alone and being one of the only women in the family who wasn't doing something that weekend.
Now Jasper remembered exactly why he loved his little Alice. She had come through for him, and tonight was going to be a huge surprise for both Bella and Edward. Jasper knew he was going to hear about it later. It was too late for Edward to back out now. Jasper had gone all week, purposely not thinking about the ordeal while he knew Edward was listening in on his thoughts.
Jasper signalled Edward forward. He paused a moment, shaking his head. He turned to Edward and straightened his tie for him. A hundred and something years old and you still can't tie a tie properly. He thought, giving Edward a disapproving look. It was then that Jasper looked down and saw that his own tie was crooked. Scowling and giving Edward a warning look, as if to tell him not to even bother laughing, Jasper straightened his own tie.
He led Edward through a maze of seats and up a few flights of stairs before they came to a set of box seats in the theater. This part of the theater was set up for live performances; Opera, Classical Concerts, Plays and things of the sort. Jasper took his own seat at the small table in the box. The first thing Edward would see is that the table was set for four.
Jasper made a display of taking his seat, straightening his tie, folding one leg across the other, sitting up straight and turning his attention to the stage. He purposely avoided Edward's eyes as he set his mind to thinking about farm animals. Cat. Meoooow. Cow. Mooooooo! Chicken. Bock bock bock! Goose. HONK! Dog. Bark bark! Beetle! ..... Err... wait... what sound does a beetle make? He thought to himself with a sly grin.
