One thing I'd like to see is a board for RP-ing in the past. I don't know how others feel about it, but I think it'd be helpful with character development. For example if a person who played Jasper needed some help getting into character, he could go "back in time" (for all intensive purposes) and RP as confederate-age Jasper with Maria, Nettie, or Lucy. Does that make sense? I think a board like that would thrive, especially as this site grows.

Another board that I think would be cool is something like IC journals? To allow people to write from first person and get more in character. *nodnod*

I love the idea of IC journals! (In part, perhaps, because I can totally see Jedda as a journaler)

Overall, I think the site is wonderful. There are active members, quality posts, and lots of fun OOC stuff as well (but not so much that it takes over the board). I honestly can't think of anything that needs to be added, but I'll keep this thread in mind if I do!

For sure. We're definitely growing into a nice little community. We have what, like seven or eight different people (more characters, seeing as I roleplay four, and Kai plays three and such) who are really active members and contribute to this site in so many different ways? It's great. And I definitely like the IC/OOC ratio. (oh, little change, it's OOC, not OCC...out-of-character, you might want to fix that in the category title).

EDIT// Oooh, Ooh! Idea! Fan-fiction sub-board in Chat! We can all write fan-fictions! Haha, I'm currently working on an Alice ff that I'd love to share with people here.

I liked everyone's suggestions on this thread *has just read through them*, especially the "back in time" board. i think that would be fun to rp in even if you don't need help getting into character.

I might have a few suggestions for other boards and stuff if you're interested. All the good ideas have been said but there are a few more obscure ones me and my friend often use on our sites:

A sort of out-of-reality board:- this is basically for rping messed up storylines. Like... is Bella had gone for Jacob instead of Edward, or if Rosalie and Edward had fallen in love like Carlisle wanted and then Emmett had come along... blah blah blah. They have nothing to do with the site but are just a bit of fun. ^^.

A board for couple threads:- If you're part of a long and complex romantic story you can post a thread about you and you're partner- a bit of information about each of you and then your story. If other people like the couple they can look back and read up on them. You can also add links to all the significant threads about the romance.

A board for member threads:- You post a thread for yourself (as a member rather than a character) and then list all the different threads you're in with each of your characters. It helps to keep track and other members can see what threads you're in and join them. You can also keep track of which threads it's your turn to post in etc.


These are slightly odder ideas that aren't used so much so you don't have to use them, but I find that they can all be quite useful ^^, especially the member threads one. ^^</sub>

I suggest that all of the boards Edward suggested be sub-boards. Because our boards are getting a little cluttered out there. heh

I've add all the ones you've suggested accept the couple thread board as that can be done in several other boards.
