The House of Night is far from your average School. With it's castle like appearance, odd subjects, odder staff, and weird operating hours, people who don't attend seem to frown upon it and think it's a school for murderous, blood-lusting monsters. Yes, the students are vampires in training and the teachers are also vampires; sometimes hundreds of years old.
But that's not all. Students die everyday. Fledgelings, as they are called, are basically at a 50/50 chance of making it to vampirehood. If their body rejects the change of becoming a vampire, their bodies will spew with blood and well, die. Plus there's this added stress of having to complete math homework, science quizzes and that little thing called popularity. Oh, what about those special gifts the goddess Nyx grants some? Or that lurking evil that seems to be steadily growing? How will you ever be able to ace that test, when all this is going on?

After being marked for being a vampire, there is no way out. You either go to the school, or die. Your choice. Your old life is gone, and you can't ever have anything to do with it ever again. Yes, the House of Night was taken over by Neferet and Kalona. No she wasnt the same as she potrayed she was. Now she was the Queen Tsi-Sqili and raised Kolana. Yes a evil angel who was set on using all of the woman of the world and to get back on those who betrayed him. Which meant bad knews for all of the humans. Zoey Redbird and her friends left the school going to the only safe place they had the Tunnels where Stevie Rae lived with her new kind. They were joined by Heath, Zachary and a group of Humans that stood behind them. It was about to be a huge war. Connections inside the school had to be protected and saved. Naylei Wells, knowing she had to be strong, with the help of Allen Baxter, Saphira Jade and her friends the young former took control over the Dark Daughters playing her game with the new Queen she was giving all the info she could to Zoey to help her when the school back. Yes it was true they were in danger the world was. It was a war, this is what we feared the world is in darkness, it has to be stopped but which path are you on? Which side will you follow?
